so much history in this city! not all good, but important. The architecture is unbelievable and soo much of it is still left or being renovated. We arrived during a holiday so the vibe of the city may have been different than a normal visit, but I still recommend it. I also recommend to learn a few German phrases as well as bring euros as many places do NOT accept credit cards and don't post it...or maybe it was posted but in German and I didn't understand. Just make sure you have cash handy. Also tipping has become a thing unlike in the past, so just be mindful of those things. I was also there on business and didnt have much time to see much, but what I was able to see was totally worth the visit. Very enjoyable and informative.AmberBrUnited States - 10Scored 10

I've been to Berlin about 40 times. Home away from home. Lots to do, theatre, opera, museums are all very good. A great city to explore on foot. Despite construction blocking off some routes I was used to walking, it was still easy to get around. Favorite places: Gorki Theater, Schaubühne, Komische Oper, Hackesche Höfe, Berlinische Galerie, Neues Museum, Pergamon; flea markets and art galleries.

Being a largish city, the best way to decide what to see is to take the 2 day hop on hop off ticket and go around the city. There are multiple operators, but they all seem to be on the same routes. We also took the river cruise which was a nice way to see the city. Prepare to walk a lot, but it is quite comfortable. Decent curry - India Express, Kantstraße 74, 10627. Good burgers - Burgermeister Schlesisches Tor, Oberbaumstraße 8, 10997. Best tour to visit - Berliner Unterwelten (Tour M). Berlin Cathedral is nice and the rooftop views are great. Reichstag Building is fascinating but you must book well in advance. Get the BVG Fahrinfo phone app, book a 24hr pass if you plan to use public transport a lot. Use nextbike app to hire bicycles on the streets.

Berlin is a city where you can almost feel history all around you. From Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, The Berlin Wall, the location of the bunker where Hitler committed suicide. Even the hotel where MJ held his infant over the balcony. Berlin is a city of history mixed in with restaurants, nightlife, bars and magnificent parks. Don't forget a day trip to Potsdam. You cannot miss the Reichstag dome (remember to book it in advance, the entrance is free). I've loved Potsdamer Plaz and the sorroundings, the East Side Gallery and also Nikolaiviertel, but the overall city is something unique and special.

But to me the very best things about this hotel was the hospitality and the kindness of the hotel manager and how he was willing to help with anything just to make sure you gonna be comfortable as there guest . I never felt so welcomed in a hotel like how I felt with them and definitely I’ll be back to the hotel :-)

The rooms were immaculate, and the breakfast had everything you would need to set you up for the day. The location is the added bonus. The Mercedes benz arena and main train station are practically on your doorstep. About a 5 min walk. Plenty of places to eat all around or only 3 stops on the U if you want to go into the city centre. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Berlin. 10 out of 10 ❤️

And we came back after few hours to check if our room was available and to our surprise, the receptionist told us that our room is upgraded in to an apartment. And Wow! Their apartment room was the best and perfect . Sadly , we only got a chance to stay there overnight. U will recommend this hotel to my friends who will soon visit Berlin. It was an ideal location for visiting InnoTrans as it was a 25min walk or 10min train journey to Messe Nord. The location is also convenient for travelling into Berlin City Centre. The hotel is very quiet and located in a very nice and safe district of Berlin. Reaching the city center is easy by bus and S-Bahn for about 30 minutes. The personnel were friendly and I even managed to check-in quite early. Near Lichterfelde West there are enough options of restaurants and shops.
