A favoured holiday spot since the Victorian era, Blackpool is a traditional English seaside town. Amusement arcades and crazy golf courses line the promenade and dotted between them are plenty of places to pick up fresh fish ‘n’ chips and Blackpool rock.
On the 5-mile sandy beach, children can enjoy Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides. Old-fashioned entertainment at its best. At the other end of the scale is the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a fairground complex comprising a variety of rides, including The Big One - once the world’s tallest and steepest rollercoaster. They actually had to get permission from nearby Blackpool Airport to erect it!
More seaside pursuits are on the town’s 3 piers, one of which is Grade II listed. However, the most recognisable landmark is the Blackpool Tower which houses a circus, 4D cinema and a world-renowned ballroom, to name a few. Modelled on the Eiffel Tower, it is spectacularly lit during the annual Blackpool Illuminations, when the whole town is bathed in bright lights. The trams plying the prom are also lit. Look out for the one shaped like a ship.
A popular stag and hen do destination, Blackpool offers accommodation ranging from North Shore hotels to South Shore B&Bs - see Booking.com for the best choice.

My partner and I love coming to Blackpool, despite run down beach front buildings there is a lovely beach to visit and sooooo much to do from shopping, clubbing etc. to walking and even swimming when the weather is hot. It is just a shame that the council is not investing money into improving the town as it is our favourite seaside place to visit.
It is very easy to get around as there are buses, taxis and trams, so plenty of choices or just a nice long walk if you stay in the centre.
We love to do some shopping, eating out and long walks on the beach but there are a lot of attractions for everyone including the wonderful Blackpool tower.

What I liked most about the trip was the fact that I knew other colleagues,
so we were able to go out for evening meals and to socialised.
The Conference was extremely important and informative.
If it was my first visit, I probably would have change hotel or return home.
We had a pub lunch just outside across from the church. at (25). an Asian Restaurant of all you can eat, a meal at the Mecca bingo. "We all spent a fortune but did not win anything" However we were in good company and we had fun.
We walked to the bingo and all the restaurants, then to the after party event on the Tuesday night. We walked together at 11 p.m. and felt safe. "I Love Blackpool, and have visited on several occasion for a break outside of conference". I would avoid {The Vista Sol}. Unless there are some major changes.
Thought for the day, "WE CAN`T ALL BE THE SAME" And I am very HAPPY IN MY OWN SKIN...
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to be able to express my experience. Please , Please do make some changes, it is the year 2024.

Blackpool, the riviera of the North West.
Blackpool, the riviera of the North West. Used to be, not any more. So many hotels shut down, some being renovated loads just shut. Same as restaurants, so many just boarded up. The front now just looks so dated.

Blackpool has many "faces" as a simple seaside town, a big attraction town "Pleasure beach, Tower, Sandcastle" .. And as a nightspot for bars and clubs. It's the most welcoming town in the UK of LGBT community especialy for Trans who often struggle to be welcomed elsewhere.
Great location, with parking onsite which is a big bonus. The staff were excellent and very friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. Room was large, clean and bed were comfortable. Breakfast was tea or coffee, juice, choice of cereal, toast and a full English, very enjoyable. We only stayed the one night, but we were allowed to leave the car parked at the hotel on our leaving day for a few hours longer whilst we had more time to explore Blackpool.
I like being in the North of Blackpool and this hotel is convenient for that. Owners are very friendly and have made it very welcoming. You are allowed to come and go as you please with the keys for the outside door and the room door. The breakfast is super and enjoyed each mornings selection. We were able to watch the semi final of the Euro football between England and Denmark so what a good evening that was. Drinks are available too.
We had a fantastic stay at the Northdene Theatre Hotel. The tram was a 5 minute walk, the breakfast was superb and the room was excellent but the best aspect of our stay was Jayne! After a long drive we arrived early but we received the warmest welcome, her personality was infectious & nothing was any inconvenience. We will definitely be back in the near future!
Absolutely spotless with loads of Mod Cons (whirlpool bath with a tv, remote lighting, four poster bed, balcony, Dyson fan) this is by far the best Hotel in Blackpool in fact the Country. Claire and Mark are fantastic hosts as are all the staff you honestly won’t find better. A massive thank you and keep up the excellent work.
Best Hotel I've stayed in at Blackpool, me and my family go at least twice a year so weve stayed in quite a few. Hotel was lovely and clean, breakfast was lovely and staff were also very kind and welcoming. 100% recommend this hotel. I'll definitely be using it again.
Very friendly owner who did everything she could to help our family of 5 and small dog, very clean family room with double bed & bunk bed for the kids. For a couple of days stay in Blackpool that accommodates dogs on the seafront this hotel is perfect.
Breakfast was top dollar all you can eat for £5.99 and great quality and service more like a 5 star hotel couldn’t ask for more will be going back pitty no dogs allowed my dog would love this place one of the best hotels I have stayed in Blackpool
Sarah did her very best to make our stay as good as possible. The hotel caters for family and couples only which is great as we had our 2 grandkids with us. The location is absolutely superb, very close to all attractions. Breakfast was superb.
clean room, family friendly accommodating staff, even made breakfast early for us as we had to rush off. Located close to the seaside and pleasure beach. Public parking nearby. For a cheap hotel in Blackpool this hotel deserves 10/10
Friendly, welcoming & helpful staff
Nothing too much trouble,
Comfortable & clean room, with everything required, especially liked that we had a Blackpool tower view from the room.
Short walk to seafront, tower & town centre.
Lovely atmosphere. Owner very welcoming and friendly. Room very clean. Location was great. It’s definitely the best hotel my family and I have stayed in in Blackpool. Can not fault the place. would definitely stay here again.
The Hotel was spotless the owners very friendly and it was a pleasure to stay in a lovely comfortable Room. would highly recommend to anyone.
If go back to Blackpool would stay again as so close to the town and the seafront
Exceptional service from the very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located in the quieter south seafront of Blackpool and all rooms are beautifully furnished. We loved the whirlpool bath.
He saved us, one of the cheaper family rooms that was available this weekend. I mean the town was rammed with the match on etc. He helped with parking and with somewhere to watch the match.
The location is a walk away from all Blackpool has to offer but at the same time far enough away not to be disturbed by the amenities of the seafront. I would definitely stay again.
