The accommodation is a hidden gem. We've travelled by car as a family of 2 + 2 kids. We've easily managed to cover island's top beaches and the port by car from the location. However, last 150m to the parking could be challenging as it's steep but still manageable. Communication with the host was great, keys were collected remotely at location. The hut is tastefully decorated and provides all that is required incl. kitchen utensils and coffee machine. Terrace and views are amazing, feeling surrounded by sea & nature incl. wildlife.

The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. The complex is on level ground, so very easy to get around . The pool area is very clean , with very comfortable beds and a garden area too, with plenty of shade. The BBQ event was great and the food was amazing. Breakfast was a huge array of all sorts of fresh and tasty produce. The rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

We ended up being upgraded to Skiathos Avaton villa and suites which was amazing and just up from the Avaton hotel. The room was lovely with its own jacuzzi/pool and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bartender made amazing mojitos. We ate in the Avaton hotel in both the bistro and restaurant and both were lovely, again with staff that were attentive and friendly. The hotel was fairly close to the town, a short walk away. However some of the roads didn’t have paths which was a little dangerous, but nothing major. The hotel is also close to the beach. The suites and villas are nestled on the side of a hill which make for lovely surroundings.

Centrally located, Hotel Kastro is 250 metres from Skiathos Port and a few steps away from taverns and mini markets. It is surrounded by a garden and offers air-conditioned rooms.

Everything was great about this hotel. Lia was so helpful and friendly, and on hand for any questions most of the time. The hotel, and room, were spotlessly clean and the room cleaned everyday. Additionally, the towels were changed every day and bed sheets every 3 days, which is great and certainly not something that's done everywhere. The room had a nice little balcony overlooking the garden, which was lush and full of nice plants and greenery. There was also a nice area outside for sitting, and a great roof terrace. Breakfast was provided with breads, pastries, fruit, coffee and juice, which was most welcome to start the day.
