This was one of the most lovely hotels that we have ever stayed in. It is so well run with attention to detail and a genuine desire from all the staff to make guests welcome and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious and generous breakfasts that can be taken inside or outside by the pool. The rooms are really well furnished, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We slept very well indeed . It is in an excellent location in a pretty street and within walking distance of everything. It was straight forward to unload our car outside and then to park it for the full 4 days at the harbour which is free and a short walk away. Thank you to Hotel Ippoliti for making our stay so enjoyable.

We stayed in Nafplio for 2 days but we could have stayed much longer because it is beautiful town with many places to visit. From here we went to Epidaurus, Tyrins and Mycenae, all these are extraordinary archeological sites. The Palamidi fortress is a huge medieval citadel that sits on a hill overlooking the city, very impressive and well conserved, a masterpiece on itself. The problem there is the parking lot which is really very very small for the huge amount of visitors. It is very crowded at most times. The city center is very picturesque, narrow streets with beautiful houses and flowers everywhere, lots of small shops and boutiques.

Nafplio is a lovely and picturesque town, with lots of good restaurants and shops. It's in a lovely setting, and there are a fair few things to see and visit in the town itself, while it also makes a great base for exploring the rest of the Peloponnese. The only thing it lacks is a top quality beach, which is perhaps just as well or it would be overflowing with tourists!

although nafplio itself is not large, especially if you stick to the old town which is the most interesting part it is a good base for local tours either with a bus/ktel, affordable taxi or a car. We would have liked to at least check out Epidavros as well and a near by monastery. if you plan to visit nearby sites without basing your self in nafplio 2 days is plenty other wise 4 days to fit Mycenae and Epidavrus

3 nights max is perfect for Nafplio during the winter season...
3 nights max is perfect for Nafplio during the winter season. The city is beautiful, the Venesian forst was fabulous and the food is good. The only issue I have with the city is the terrible smell, air quality that seems to start around 5pm and continues until about 8 pm.
A lovely little hotel. It was one of the most memorable places we stayed during our 3-week travel in Greece. Our room was at the third floor, spacious and charming with a full kitchen and a lovely balcony facing to the sea. The balcony had installed with the ropes and clips for drying clothes.
The Mr. owner helped us to order a taxi taking us to the top of the Palamidi Fortress (10 euro one way).
Great location - inside the old town near a free public car park. Try to come early in the day to get a space.
The hotel is beautiful. The lobby was bright and spacious. The breakfast was in fact, delicious -- with home made pastries and coffee to order. The room was a bit dark in spite of having 3 windows/doors. The bathroom had a tub/shower enclosed jacuzzi -- but it was overly complicated.
I would stay again -- perhaps in a room with a different bathroom set up. Nafplio is a wonderful small walkable town with great restaurants and shopping. A nice way to spend the last night of our 3 week stay in Greece.
The location was fantastic, and the view was lovely. This hotel is in the historic center of Nafplio and easily walkable to the sea, sites, and restaurants. It’s about a 10 minute walk from free city parking. AC worked well, and and the beds were adequately comfortable. The staff spoke English and were very helpful and accommodated us when we needed an unexpectedly late check-in and assisted with laundry. I also left behind an item and the staff was helpful as I sorted out a way to retrieve it.
Very good hotel, 7 min drive from Nafplio. All was good but two highlights: The breakfast is awesome and rivals 5* upscale hotels. 7 different pies to choose from, organic options, fruits, cakes, oats and bloody chia seeds, flax seeds and goji berry. I stayed at an InterCon last week and they didn't have such healthy options! The other highlight is the manager, Lia, that is ever helpful and will also give you the off-the-grid info to have a blast with secret beaches and places to visit.
Very nice host. The apartment is conveniently located in the old town area with walking distance to many attractions, situated on an elevated spot overlooking the ocean and fortress. very well maintained with a lot of attention to details. We enjoyed so much during our 1- day stay exploring Nafplion, dinner on the harbour, wondering around the cute little town, hike to the castle in the morning and come back to the hotel for a nice breakfast on the terrace. Very very cozy.
Pension Dafni is a very nice place to stay in Nafplio, Greece. In the old town, in a quiet street, with very nice and helpful staff, generous breakfast. Excellent location - minutes from the coach station, minutes from the centre of the old town and port, minutes from the beach. We rested very well after exploring this corner of Greece in the heat. It was so quiet that I had some of my best sleep ever. Highly recommended 👌
The hotel could not be better situated, and we stayed 10 days. The rooms were clean , very comfortable and as promised totally sound proof. The breakfast was great, either to eat on the verandah or if you chose on the balcony of your room. The staff and owner were extremely helpful, nothing being to much for them and if we return to Nafplion which we would love to do, would have no hesitation to return to the Epoch House.
The hotel is situated on the upper levels and inside the old town. the two rooms we booked were on the top level and had 2 small adjoining balconies looking onto the fort and over the cute roofs of the old town. it’s within walking distance of restaurants, shops, beach and harbor. The breakfast was nice ..yogurt, bread and pastries with nice orange juice but don’t expect too much. we were satisfied for our 3 days stay.
Location is perfect for walking and exploring Nafplio. Lovely decor in the rooms and comfortable beds. 3 Sixty Dining and wine bar had excellent food with nice presentation. Tasty breakfast with several choices. The fruit was very fresh. Loved the pancakes. Front desk staff went over and above, even gave us coffee and water to go when we checked out. Will definitely stay here again and recommend this boutique hotel.
The breakfast was great and we so appreciated the delicious cake that Ioanna made for us on two different occasions during our stay. The apartment itself had everything we needed, was completely updated, and such a comfortable place to use as our base to travel and explore. I cannot recommend this place highly enough- it was easily our favorite of all the apartments we rented while in Greece!
The location of the hotel was perfect for walking to locations in Nafplion and for parking the car in the free car park near the beach. Driving in and out of Nafplion was also eased by being able to park in that location. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. The view from the balcony over the harbour was a delight as was having breakfast outside by the dome of a former hamam.
A tastefully decorated, small boutique hotel with staff that go out their way, this hotel is worth every cent. Although it is pricier than many hotels in Nafplio, it is worth it . I had told the staff that it was my 20th wedding anniversary and they made it very special for us with many romantic details. The room was comfortable and the food at the restaurant was delicious.
A Newer clean facility. It was a 5minute drive from the harbor of Nafplion. You will probably need a car. The location is pleasant and private. the breakfast was really good and the owners were friendly and helpful. Google maps takes you to the wrong address, so make sure you enter the actual address of the hotel into google maps, and not just the hotel name.
Very clean, well-kept boutique hotel in the old town of Nafplio. Service and staff were exemplary. Our room has a good-size terrace with views over the rooftops toward Palmidi Fortress which was wonderful in the evening when temperatures cooled somewhat and the fortress was lit up.
The room was cozy (small) as advertised but perfect for our first night in Greece. The location was ideal and communication with our host made check in very easy. Breakfast was the best of our entire trip in Greece. It was the best value overall.
It is a lovely older B&B style hotel. It is located in a great area for exploring Nafplio and is relatively quite from tourist noise. Additionally, it is located about 5 minutes walk from everything, including a beautiful beach and the castle.
A quiet, nicely decorated hotel, with great location steps away from the town center, beautiful view, helpful staff, and one of the best breakfasts we had in Greece.
