We enjoyed our stay in an apartment in Piraeus not far from the port entrance. The port is a very busy and very big area, it took us a while to find our way round as there are very few directional signs in English. It makes it hard to find things initially. We had to ask directions a lot and some locals treated us poorly with eye rolling, etc. while they explained directions to us like we were children. Once you get it worked out though it is a great way to do a bit of island hoping. We went on day trips to Paros, Hydra and Aegina. Loved them all.
Hospitality staff in restaurants and cafes in Piraeus were great, very friendly and helpful. Great service everywhere we went.
The area is not very attractive though as it is a working waterfront and as with everywhere in Greece there is so much graffiti. So sad that a city with such incredible history is so badly defaced. Overall it was a great stay though.

A bustling harbour and marina area of downtown Athens.
A bustling harbour and marina area of downtown Athens. We loved it as being near the Zea Marina meant lots of nightlife and amazing super yachts etc. It had a good family feel with people out and about safely having fun till quite late. You could access public transport to get into Athens centre easily and I would say this is a good a place to stay if not better due to ability to swim and see some quieter parts beyond the central tourist areas. It also meant accessing trips to the Islands was easy as they mainly left from the marinas, and if you wanted a ferry or cruise these were also nearly at the port the other side of the peninsula.

We stayed near the marina which had lots of quaint restaurants. It was easy to walk around and enjoy. The hop-on hop-off bus stop was right outside our hotel and provided easy access to Athens without all the headaches of staying in Athens. Since we were taking a cruise, this hotel was easily accessible to the cruise terminal and the hotel staff took care of all our arrangements.

Our host was amazing.
Our host was amazing. She was such a great facilitator and helped us find everything that we needed. She was just more than cordial. She even helped us find a plug that we needed in the town nearby. Shelters find our way to the train and I have it was a very nice clean, happy place and about a 20 minute cab ride to the port with the cruise ships, she was amazing
Room was newly done, did book 2 double rooms but got given a twin. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was disappointing unless you like bread or toast with no butter, there was cereal and cooked with vegetables.
Had dinner which was lovely good choice sit in or out.
Hotel booked taxi to airport sadly the driver had awful bo which was not nice for an hours drive and charged us more that a taxi from the street. Charged us 60 euros even thoigh the meter said 52 euros.
The best host ever! Clean space and easy communication with them - I highly recommend staying here if you want to be near the port. At first glance it may seem like it is just another boring hotel room but don't worry because your new home has all of amenities necessary for any traveler: comfortable bedding/ pillows ( Sheet panelles police!), free WiFi access along side kitchen amenities such as pots pans cups dishes etc., and private bathroom complete with shower.
The property was centrally located, close to the Cruise Port. The building was clean and had everything we needed. Even a washer/dryer in the apartment. Restaurants and shopping was within walking distance. Public transportation was close by and easy to use. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Athens, Greece for an extended stay or a short stay. Thank you for providing this place through your website on Booking.com.
This was the fourth time my wife and I stayed in this hotel. It is near the port and we prefer it for our short stays. Our previous, third stay here, for which I haven't written a review, was ok.
In this one, we were satisfied with the room, even if it wasn't as nice as the ones we had during previous stays. It was spacious enough and we didn't have major problems, but...
Clean and very modern decor. This was a small boutique hotel near the train station. The room was upgraded. (Thank you management team). It had a kitchen array behind a wardrobe door which we did not use. The room had a charming loft extension up a ladder like stairs with a small bed and wardrobe. We did not use that either for our one night stay.
View and location were great for Piraeus. We didn't book a ferry which was the reason I booked this hotel as close to the port. Not much to see in Piraeus other than ports, for us anyway. We ended up hiring a taxi to go back to Plaka in Athens for a few hours. Breakfast was pretty good. Front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly.
Celebrating our 40th anniversary in Greece we chose the hotel based on price and amenities. Great choice! Wonderful staff, all kinds of up grade possibilities here! The food was fantastic and the shuttle to the cruise ships are right on time. Everything was top notch! Thank you for making our stay memorable
Day 22 on our Greece trip. We needed a solid, clean, reasonably priced hotel with good coffee and breakfast too. The “OX” fir the bill. Good location to ships, great breakfast, reasonable price. Even a great family owned restaurant around the corner. The Noe. Great local food..great prices.
Excellent location for the port or to catch the metro into the centre. Bed was so comfortable which is hard to find in Greece! Breakfast also great quality and lots of selection. Ate at the hotel restaurant twice and the food was beautiful. My new favourite hotel in Piraeus!
The staff were lovely and helpful. The room was lovely and clean. Had a hair dryer.👍🏻 I went for football, but forgetting that, there was a lovely marina, with very reasonable prices. Transport into Athens itself is very cheap. Overall I was delighted with the hotel.
We stayed here for what amounts to 6 hours to transition from Athens Airport to board a ferry at the Piraeus Port. The hotel was adequate for the task. Took about 5 minutes to get to the port the next morning. A no frills hotel, it was clean and served its purpose.
The location was great. Lots of restaurants nearby and within walking distance to the port. Room was small but very comfortable for one night stay. Shower had a hook on wall to hang hand shower which is not usually found in other hotels. Good value for money.
Excellent boutique hotel.... polite helpful staff especially George.. while it may not be very close to the port, they offer a complimentary shuttle service. Certainly it's a great option to stay in Athens before proceeding onwards to the Cyclades
Great if you’re going to tour Athens for a day or 2 before catching an early boat to an island. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the port and 7 minutes from the metro that goes directly to the center of Athens
I booked the hotel as a night stopover in Athens.
Very close to the port, good size room and clean bathroom.
Excellent breakfast in the morning and the guy at reception was exceptional.
Great stay excellent location for the port hotel very classical Greek , excellent staff .Will use the hotel again and recommend . Excellent value for money .
