I had the most lovely stay. The property was easy to locate. Parking is right in front of the property. Mike and Jenny are such nice people. Thanks for the tip to the food cart. I had the yummy blue cod.
The room was big and well equipped. There was everything I need to make noodles but had the fish and chips instead.
Everything was clean. The bed was large and super comfortable. There was a heated blanket which kept me toasty warm all night.
I would come back if I visit again. The view alone is great for relaxing. It’s better than beachfront. Its elevated position means no noise from traffic yet only a small flight of stairs and you are at the beach across the street. It’s only 10 minutes drive to Nugget Point.

A lovely beach with a cafe/shop/restaurant so ideal for families. Easy to reach nugget point from there. Bear in mind it’s at the eastern end of the Catlins so if you want to explore places further west, eg Curio Bay, you will have quite a drive. Beautiful location and very close to Nugget Point Lighthouse which is a must see for all travellers. Would have liked to stay longer and try swimming. The beaches looked very inviting. Clifftop views around the lighthouse are breathtaking

Really peaceful place - great accommodation, host, garden and beach view - thoroughly recommended- if you’re on a road trip take 2 or 3 days to unwind here - take food to cook if going on a Sun or Mon as restaurant in town currently shut then- we thought that would bother us but with a good kitchenette and views to die for from the dining table and the outside furniture we were VERY happy staying ‘home’

A lovely spacious apartment. Very clean and comfortable with amazing views. A pub restaurant within a couple of minutes walk but not open on a Monday. We were there on a Monday!! The apartments are modern, extremely well equipped and have super comfy beds. Our host left us little treats and was friendly and easy to communicate with. Kaka Point is just 10km from Nugget Point - a highlight of our visit. Kaka point beach is suitable for swimming and it's just across the road. I would highly recommend and would definitely book again but for longer next time so we had more time to enjoy our comfy accommodation.KatherineNew Zealand
