The house was clean and warm. Loved the little touches like spare toothbrushes plenty of loo paper, makings for a few cuppas and washing/dishwash tablets. Kitchen crockery well stocked, good range of pans. Dishwasher and washing machine simple to operate and worked well. The owners were easy to contact via booking.com or whatsapp and responded quickly even on a bank holiday.

Clean, easy to find, quiet location. Close to local shops, pubs and takeaways.
Plenty of extra duvets and pillows.
Located in the very heart of the city, moments from the city centre railway station, Sleeperz Newcastle has countless iconic landmarks steps away from its doorstep.

Nice and central, staff were lovely and super helpful changing our room when we arrived early so we could get in.
Just 300 metres from the Gateshead Millennium Bridge and the Baltic Art Centre, this modern hotel has a stylish on-site restaurant, bar, gym, and free Wi-Fi throughout.

A very nice hotel in the heart of Newcastle with great access to the city and ideal to finish walking Hadrian’s Wall with a group of friends. Your staff are amazing. Very friendly and helpful. And a cracking laugh. Comfortable beds and a nice shower.
This 4-star hotel looks out over the River Tyne and the Quayside to Newcastle city centre. It has modern, air-conditioned rooms and a health club with gym and indoor pool.

We had a large accessible room with plenty of room for my wheelchair in the bedroom and bathroom. Could have used a second comfy chair as hubby wasn't comfy on the office chair. Those are my only gripes! Hotel was very clean, staff very helpful, polite and welcoming. Large choice at breakfast, I can't imagine anyone not finding something that they liked. I was even cooked some croissants as they'd run out ( thank you Tracy and Cheryl!). Would happily return. There was loads of pubs, takeaways and restaurants in the area so we didn't use the restaurant in the evening.

Value for money. Very friendly, helpful staff.
Value for money. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. The only disappointment was that the bar closed 'early' (for us!), but as there were not too many people in the bar, this is understandable. We stayed for three nights. No housekeeping, which actually suited us and would have been our preference. All staff (including reception, kitchen and 'others') friendly and helpful. Gave us additional towels, and tea/coffee on request.

This is not a fancy hotel, however it’s friendly and clean, comfortable. There is a bar and restaurant for evening meals. The breakfast caters to all and provides value for money, which sets you up for the day. Washington itself good sat navigation needed, lots of roundabouts can get a little confusing. Beamish museum is a lovely place to visit, even those with disabilities, they have an access bus, which will take the wheelchair user and carer to any destination on site. This was the only site we visited as up in the area for personal reasons.

Washington Tyne and Wear is a great location for a short stay. Just a short hop off the A1M. There are plenty of walks nearby and Washington is located within a short distance of the city of Newcastle and Gateshead. Both locations being a 10 to 15 minute drive away respectively.

We were attending a family wedding the following day so didnt get to view much of Washington , we did have a walk along the River tyne and wear before going to the hotel .
Would recommend the hotel though
Hotel was quiet, yet everybody did their upmost to make the best of our stay. The manager, the reception staff, the bar staff, the restaurant were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. This is a budget hotel, and everyone really tried their best - so thank you. Surprisingly the food for hotel food was also pretty good.. So all in all, thanks very much for a very enjoyable stay
Really helpful staff. We were able to get a meal even though we were late arriving and my grandson’s AirPods, which he left in the room had been kept in a safe so we were able to collect them nearly a week later. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is in a convenient location when travelling.
The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and as I am not that mobile the big bathroom with sit down shower and grip bars was very welcome. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful with a wide choice.
In value for money terms can’t be beaten. Easy travel situation near motorways. Best shower I’ve had a for a while even compared with much more expensive hotels. Breakfast fresh as is cooked to order.
Nice clean and tidy hotel, booked for 1 night, few drinks at the bar and up to the room for some loving on the comfy bed, don’t think we’ll be seeing each other again but can’t blame that on the hotel
Hotel was clean
Room was just big enough for the two of us.
I did not use the restaurant as we used the restaurant near by.
Hotel staff friendly. I would only stop here again if they changed bed.
For what’s is called a budget hotel, I couldn’t agree any less. It has everything you need for a stay and the staff are friendly and approachable, they certainly go out their way to assist you.
