The hotel is located in a beautiful spot overlooking the sea. We stayed for two nights as a group of 9 for my friends hen weekend, everyone in the Dunmore House Hotel was so welcoming and accommodating.
The weather was fabulous, we were able to walk to the nearby beach for a sea swim in the morning, and had a fabulous lunch on the terrace in the sun - the team at the hotel was amazing and provided some complimentary bubbles for the whole group.
The rooms are beautiful - spacious and modern. We had a gorgeous ocean view from our room.
Would highly recommend the Dunmore House Hotel!

I was there to attend a wedding.
I was there to attend a wedding. I did not take a car so I did not see much of Clonakilty itself. I think a car is necessary as it is just outside Clonakilty. I did see the sea and beaches from the taxi and they looked nice.

Great town with lots of pride and several fun cultural experiences. The Clonakilty Black Pudding Visitors Center was great. The Clonakilty Distillery is a great tour and tasting experience. Lovely quaint old world charm town.
Lovely quaint old world charm town. Very colourful and clean. Great selection of shops and information of things to see and do in the area. Take the train for a tour around the town for all ages. Lovely location as a base for exploring deeper into west Cork or just relaxing in one of the many beaches in the area. Fun, friendly town, with lots of cute pubs and really good restaurants. Great taxi service, Nial Johnson has electric luxury cars for regular price, really fun. Love the town.
Love the town. Lots of nice shops, bars, restaurants, cafés and little markets unique to the town and excellent just to browse around. Lots of little cafés, outdoor seating and well spaced public seats where one can sit and watch the world go by. The locals seem very friendly as do the staff in all the shops we visited. Seem to really take care of their visitors. Town is perfect to stroll around, very clean and brightly well decorated shops. Public toilet centrally located but unfortunately required coins to operate. These days, many people do not carry coins anymore! One way traffic system through the main street area - not too busy but could be nicer if pedestrianised.MichaelIreland

I was travelling by motorcycle and there was good secure accomodation for my bike. Staff at reception were really helpful with my check in and directing me to somewhere to park. Room was a decent size annd was fine for my one night stop over. The shower (although an over bath type) was really quite good and welcome after a day on the bike. The grounds are magnificent and peaceful, perfect for a romantic getaway. The pool is a wonderful added feature. The hosts Gerard and Ann gave us a warm welcome and they communicated with us before and during our stay for ease of arrival and check-in, as well as offering helpful tips during our stay. Good home base for day trips in and around west cork.
