It was a good stay, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was really good. The room had a very small fridge and no microwave and this made it harder for me to manage food issues relating to my husband's illness.

We stayed for as long as we needed, the town itself has a bit of a dangerous reputation but we felt safe the whole time. The shopping centre is massive and even has a UFC gym with full octagon (in the food court! have never seen anything like it).
Although there is a major train station in Campbelltown, I would recommend driving if you visit.

I had not been to Campbelltown for years so it was an extremely pleasant surprise to see the improvements along with the growth of the area. I am sure there was much more we could have experienced in the area given the time.

Front desk staff was really helpful.
Front desk staff was really helpful. Stayed after he was due to shut office to wait for me. Very helpful with my questions. Good parking. Hotel uses stairs so may not be suitable for some guests. I do overnight stops frequently and will definitely stay here again.

Campbelltown is easy to get around, just off the motorway, has an excellent mall and some lovely restaurants. If you want to go elsewhere, just hop on the motorway or take a train. We were picking up people from the airport and it was easier to stay in Campbelltown and drive in on the day.

The thing I liked most Waa when we left in the morning.
The thing I liked most Waa when we left in the morning. Honestly the motel was the worst we had ever stayed in anywhere in the world. It was so outdated and felt dirty and it felt like we where in a half way house. Never again!!
We had a spacious 2 bedroom unit in the back of the property. It was very comfortable including a kitchen for our 5 day stay. Maclin Lodge was a convenient walk from the train station and easy to reach from Sydney about an hour on the train. There were lots of restaurants and grocery stores located nearby. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting. We felt very safe staying here. The staff was exceptionally kind & helpful.
We did not eat breakfast provided by Quest. We brought our own. The apartment was comfortable overall. The kitchen and bathroom were really good. Good sized dining table with comfortable chairs, a nice big TV and comfy lounge. Really nice having a balcony too, being able to open the door for fresh air. Relatively quiet too, considering it’s in a busy area.
This was a repeat stay, because Maclin Lodge is very convenient if you want to park your car for free, walk 15 minutes to Campbelltown railway station and take the 1 hr train into Sydney CBD. This big traditional motel is not a luxury resort, but has all basic amenities, with numerous eateries nearby.
We have stayed at Rydges in other locations and generally had poor experiences so our expectations were low. This Rydges hotel was fabulous. The restaurant was good, we dined there 2 nights. The person behind the bar on Friday & Saturday night was particularly engaging.
Compliments to Lesley on reception when we stayed
She was helpful, efficient and very kind when she knew I was visiting Sydney for my sick father who passed.
Close to all services in Campbelltown , clean and quiet.
Would like to have stayed longer .
The cleanliness and hassle free check in and check out. The RA was helpful. I used to live near Macarthur Square before moving away from Sydney, so this location was just like home for me. It exceeded my expectations. Definitely coming back.
Helen was a delight. She called two days earlier to confirm booking and my special request. The service we experienced was top notch. Loved our clean, spacious room. Absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back again.
We're given the wrong room even after we questioned it. After ordering room service management finally realised we were in the wrong room and we were moved. We were also given free room service meals as compensation.
Close to lots of fast food. Staff were great. Rooms are big for family. Would recommend this hotel. Feels like you’re at home. Has everything inside cooking, laundry, facilities. Enjoy our stay.
The room was a good size, the bathroom was huge, we could come and go as we pleased without having to disturb anyone else, the staff were very helpful whenever we had questions about anything.
The room was clean but the shared areas weren't great. Was a bit surprised to have kids running up and down the hallway at 6am. The room wasn't overpriced but the hotel could use some TLC.
