As the reviews indicated, excellent location. Good bodega across the street, 5 minutes from public beach, Western Union, car rental , seafood vender 3 minutes. The big supermercado and 2 smaller also 5 minutes away walking. The kitchen was good. We bought 2 kg thumb sized Samana shrimp, 1600 pesos. Ate shrimp and fresh salad for all 5 nights. Excellent!!! Very nice well kept hotel with beautiful trees/foilage.

Bayahibe small and cozy, easy to drive, we were there to look for possible place to live. However the europeans have locked up the town and are building many apartment complex's for tourism. Too expensive to rent or buy in Bayahibe. Nice place to visit at Villa Baya for 4 days and that is it. 30 tour bus's bring in 2000 people daily from all over to go on catamaran tours, particularly to Isla Saona I suspect, as well as the scuba business. When the apartment complexs are finished in the next 2 to 3 years, Bayahibe is going to be totally overcrowded I suspect. I asked about snorkel tour for a couple hours. $150 usd!!!!! OUCH!! I am a snorkeler as well as a dedicated swimmer.

This is a very safe feeling small village.
This is a very safe feeling small village. We never felt unsafe as we walked around during days or nights. The restaurants along the waterfront served great food at very reasonable prices. Most of the waitstaff do not speak English which made for a bit of fun. I highly recommend taking a full day trip to Saona Island if you are traveling to Bayahibe.

Bayahíbe is an excellent place.
Bayahíbe is an excellent place. Nice view and it is closer from the SDQ airport than Punta Cana.
The beach was pretty safe and there is a lot of security staff all around the place. No problem with that.
The beach is not too salty, and the sand is clean and white. I really liked Bayahíbe.
Almost nothing. Just the garden, and maybe the room.
This hotel is a small annex to a 4 star Catalonia. which is not a problem. Problem is the staff. Is a tragedy. On the beach bar, huge problem. They do not serve you, do not have beer. Served beer from a plastic can. Bar staff agresive if you have questions. Food is averige. Main bar the same, nobody is serving you.
I am tired also writing this review. Paying 400 usd/night , you need to offer much more. Bad experience!! after a super 5 star hotel in Punta Cana.
I like it that it was in the city center, even if Bayahibe is very small.. the area was very safe and aswell people, and the room was cleaned every day…You have few bars and restaurants and is good to stay there few days if you want to be closer to go at Saona Island and Isla Catalina☺️ I am happy that my trip has been started at Bayahibe and not in resort Punta Cana because like that i would never be able to see and make opinion about the local life and people…i felt very welcomed and safe
Best hotel i had in Dominican Republic. Great huge rooms, nice decorated. Lovely people. Good vibes, good party´s. Beautiful rooftop, with breakfast on the rooftop and a yacuzzi.super convenient location and the organized, friendly and always available staff.Excellent terrace bar fabulous cocktails but above all nice environment. The hotel is located in the center and you can move on foot as well as we did! You have to go there! Highly recommended!
My family and I (including an elderly person) were "stranded." We paid for a tour which include drop off in the morning and pick up at the end. After waiting almost 2 hours and the location closing, we had to find a taxi to bring us back to the hotel. Every time we came, they would tell us he'd be there in 5 minutes..... again, 5 minutes turned into 2 hours and we took a taxi out
DANGEROUS & UNPROFESSIONAL
The Italian and French restaurants have amazing food. The hotel pool is beautiful. The hotel shows are good.
I like the fact that you don't need a card for towels and that you have several drop off points for used towels.
The beach is beautiful. We had bad luck because the sea had a lot of waves so we couldn't go in with our baby much but they said that was not usual for that beach
Above all, the staff was very professional and friendly. Compliments to Manuel for running things smoothly and for being of great help. This B&B is clean and cosy, while the cute little pool is very refreshing. The area is nice, with a few mini markets, a few good dining options (do check out Alkquimia and D'Manuel la Cueva), vicinity of a public beach and the town of Bayahibe.
Great stay. Very nice hotel and great location in Dominicus. Rooms spacious, clean and well maintained. Miquel and Susana are very nice and great owners. They took care of everything and were helpful even while staying elsewhere. They provide shuttle service to/from the airport and have very good prices for trips to Saona Island.
I recommend it with all my heart!
The apartment is as shown in the pictures. It’s clean, modern and well equipped. I stayed with my family one night and it was the best decision. The host gave us some tips to get to know the area and even helped to get a deal to go to Saona Island. If staying in Bayahibe, don’t forget to visit Dominicus public beach, a blue flag beach only 10-15 mins by car.
It is a beautiful apartment in a gated community with swimming pools. Adventages of the apartment are: well-equipped kitchen, terrace with a view to a swimming pool, air conditioning. The beach is about 10 minutes walk. This is a perfect apartment in a perfect Dominicus Bayahibe. It is really worth it to book, I recommend it!
The best hotel I have ever been in Dominica. There is very helpful and kindly staff. The whole hotel is very comfortable, well equiped and always clean. The hotel is located at the most beautiful beach Bayahibe. It was already my third stay in this hotel and I can really recommend it.
The breakfast was very simple and small, more like a snack. One egg, one bread and one fruit. The room was adequate. This is definitely a budget hotel. The bathroom had some issues with toilet flushing, but it was an easy fix. The location was very nice and parking was available.
property is very comfortable. it is very close to the center of Bayahibe and the staff of the hotel is very kind with visitors. Rooms are very cozy, definitely is a place I really want to come back for more days.
The beach of the hotel is amazing, the room was really big and nice. The restaurants for lunch and dinner were not so amazing, but ok. The breakfast was really good and lot of variety.
I had an amazing stay! The place is super cool! Great breakfast, helpful staff, great service! The hotel is managed by an international staff. The rooftop is unique! Best of Bayahibe
Hotel staff is great. The bedrooms are spacious with a king size bed. There is a nice roof top bar with fair prices. They also serve good food there too.
