There isn't really a requirement to write a lot, this place was absolutely fantastic and I very rarely give 5 stars but this is deserved. We stayed overnight for one night, the room was spacious and extremely clean and very good value for money, the price included breakfast which was substantial and as we were going for a walk the menu was outside and having investigated further decided to stay and eat in the hotel, again fantastic quality food at a reasonable price. They were even happy to help us with car parking before we were allowed to check in and after we had checked out. We will be returning either next year or the year after.

The rooms was nothing like the add I feel it was dated and not as modern as the pictures shown….. also felt very cramped as we had a famaily room which we never asked for.
In a quiet location, The Dovedale Hotel and Restaurant features a leafy terrace and creative restaurant. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Cleethorpes Beach and Cleethorpes Pier.

Good size hotel, family room size was okay,
Managed to park on site sometimes, but carpark is small, so space is limited.

Nice staff members especially the room cleaners the lad with short brown hair and glasses who works at the bar showed us to our room on the Saturday and served us drinks on the Sunday in the pub (sorry I didn't get his name) Great size of room. We got the family room as I went with my friend but he is quiet a bit man so I knew a single bed wouldn't be big enough for him. I was happy in the bunk bed.
Large TV. Kettle, cups, glasses and choose if hot drinks plenty of milk provided too. I also liked that we had both a bath and proper shower with hot running water. View was okay as well..
The pub is at a fantastic location. A short walk from the pier, beach and amusements and next door to a bowling alley and cinema! McDonald's, KFC and Taco Bell also a short walk away our you can get a bus as there's plenty of busses and bus stops just outside of the hotel pub.
Check out was easy enough.
I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Massive, spacious, high ceilings, ornately furnished. Bedding and bed was very comfortable, slept like a baby. The hostess Debbie was very pleasant and welcoming, very attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

immaculate inside and out, good location, with on site parking for two cars. we stayed mid week and found it very around the property and very private. lovely little garden with seating area. A plus for this property is that you didn’t have to bring anything for cleaning with everything provided and a added bonus. a lovely box of goodies and a bottle to welcome you.

Grimsby has the docks, cleethorpes the sandy beach, the people are lovely beautiful on the inside and outside. Despite the people and areas there being destroyed by labour/eu and lots of propaganda and slander to make people think its better in London, I can clearly see its much better x100000000 than London. The yt vids are pure bs, grimsby and cleethorpes is not full of homeless and crime, you want a true British sea side experience then cleethorpes is the place!

Cleethorpes is a typical small seaside town, the beach is huge with decent sand, the whole sea side area can be viewed in an hour or so there is nothing really distinctive about it but it's OK for a day out and a bit of seaside fun.

Nice place, not the best surroundings, but we enjoyed our overnight stay. The hotel, The Bays on Clees Road was unclean and smelled of dust and cigarettes. The owner, Landlady was very friendly, so difficult to give a negative update, but these are important things that guests, traveller's need to know as our stay wasn't cheap at£70.00 room only.

We found Cleethorpes just right for a short stay.
We found Cleethorpes just right for a short stay. The beaches were clean and safe. Pleasant walking along the prom.
Loads of Amusements for the kids.
We would go for a two or three night break again.
I travelled to Cleethorpes to attend a family reunion . The hotel is currently undergoing some refurbishment, but every effort was made by the staff to ensure that this did not inconvenience us in any way. Throughout our stay the staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive to all our needs. There was an excellent breakfast menu with a very wide choice and some local specialities. We had dinner in the restaurant on two evenings and here again the food was really excellent, a wide choice to cater for all tastes and.beautifully presented.
The apartment is comfortable and spacious with everything we needed, a home from home. It's well located too, being only about 10-15 minutes' walk from the seafront and town centre. The off-road parking is a big plus. Also good communication from Tony who responded quickly to messages. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely book again if travelling to Cleethorpes in the future.
An amazing choice for the continental breakfast with so many lovely things to choose from so we couldn't fault it, the freshly poached eggs were great, in fact we couldn't fault anything about our stay. We look forward to staying at The Burlington hotel again. Thank you to the lovely lady who provided the breakfast and also serviced the room, she was excellent.
I arrived in Cleethorpes under sad circumstances and needed somewhere to stay for the weekend that would be a calm haven. The room was beautiful and peaceful, and beautifully decorated. The little touches like tea, coffee, milk were lovely and the host was attentive and thoughtful.
Despite us booking the Dolphin rooms, we ended up stopping in their sister hotel the Dovedale Hotel. The location was ideal and most of the staff were pleasant. My moto is: you only pay for what you get, so we initially though a decent deal for £85.00 Inc breakfast upon arrival.
Everything was perfect, lovely clean comfortable accommodation with everything you could possibly need. Just a 5 minute stroll to seafront and all amenities. Perfect host who told us everything we needed to know. When next in Cleethorpes will definitely book again, thank you.
The friendliest Hotel I’ve stayed in for some time.
Jo and her partner were so helpful and she cooks a mean breakfast.
I will always book at this b&b when I next visit Cleethorpes and would recommend any one else to do the same
The room was absolutely lovely, lovely clean bathroom. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, better than I have had in 5 star hotels. The owners are so nice and helpful and very welcoming. I would certainly stay again.
Very nice, very clean property. Situated in a great location in Cleethorpes - not too far away from local amenities and not too close. Breakfast was lovely, a very nice fry up.
The easy self check in & out . Location was perfect for getting to Cleethorpes seafront .
The quality of the furnishings decor was better than we expected for the price .
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff takes some beating. The location was near to all the amenities. I would definitely stay at the Dovedale Hotel again.
