My trip was for work, so not much time for sightseeing.

My trip was for work, so not much time for sightseeing. I noted that the racecourse is just a couple of minutes from where I was staying, and the Lakeside shopping centres a few minutes more in the opposite direction. I would have liked to visit the air museum but didnt have time

Nice Hotel reception area. Bit disappointed that we couldn't get a sandwich at 2pm in the afternoon and had to have crisps and chocolate. Great room on 6th floor overlooking the racecourse. I have an electric car and while it is disappointing that a hotel of this size does not provide charging facilities there are some available within 10m minutes walk at Asda.

The staff at this hotel were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We liked the open plan layout of the reception/bar area which has a view across Doncaster racecourse. The breakfast was plentiful and well cooked. Our room had plenty of space and, despite overlooking the main road outside, was nice and quiet.
