Overlooking the Old Botanical Garden, this 5-star design hotel in Munich offers an exclusive spa with indoor pool, soundproofed rooms with free Wi-Fi, and an elegant Neo Bistro with terrace and bar. The room was spacious, clean and nicely organized. Breakfast was the best I had in a hotel. Staff was also very kind. I have to mention Miss Hsiao-Ai Chen for being so cheerful and helpful. Location is good because it's very near to main station and also to Karlsplatz. We stayed as a family and my daughter liked the playground which is located just in front of the hotel, in the park.

Bathroom is spacious and the shower facilities are among the best I have seen across the world. Specially curated and thoughtfully supplied, there are different concoctions of shower gel depending upon the time of the day !! There is a small rooftop place to enjoy the sunset, or sunrise (if you are an early bird). The pantry supplies are located in a common room called galley with a hot water tap, varieties of teas and quick coffee, an ironing board and a quick vending machine for snacks or small supplies. It is conveniently located, at a stone's throw from tram, Ubahn station, restaurants and some major attractions. Check in and check out processes are extremely smooth and quick. The staff is amazing, friendly, courteous and attentive. Feel free to approach them for tips for making the most out of your stay in Munich. This place is now on my go to list for Munich. Not to be missed: Barista serving coffee served at the buffet...it's a work of art.

Its elegant rooms feature traditional wooden furniture and free WiFi access.... The front desk staff were amazing and so helpful, doing everything to make us feel at home and valued as customers. The room was immaculate and luxurious. They had many extra touches and amenities, like fresh coffee or tea in the lobby, pastries. The whole experience was a delight!

This hotel enjoys a quiet location and excellent transport connections, just 1 underground stop from Munich Main Station. Munich's Old Town district is 1.5 km from Hotel Erzgiesserei. Good size room. Very clean. Nice staff!!!! Extremely comfortable bed and bedding. Lovely bathroom. Nice decor throughout the building. Easy walk from train station and also easy walk to Oktoberfest...but not too close because it was quiet during the night.
