Perth is a good city but I’d really recommend getting a car and driving to the rest of Western Australia. Further north is really nice (Exeter) and down south - even Fremantle is fantastic, but I’d recommend going to Margaret river and further to esperance!
A town an hour from.Perth with so much historic value. The old antique and collectable shops are amazing. I recommended a relaxing weekend away for those living in Western Australia and tourists also. Hills, mountains and rivers.
A pretty city with many sights and attractions. Perth is also a great base to start your road trip to see the many attractions of Western Australia.
Forests fantastic but that applies to the south of Western Australia where ever you travel. Early in week(Monday night) most restaurants that are highly rated are closed. Food at Great Western hotel disgraceful and thus significantly overpriced - salad bar a joke!
Stunningly beautiful region of Western Australia. Something for everyone. Wineries, stunning beaches, beautiful bush & scenery, art studios and galleries, artisan shops, op shops, beautifully situated restaurants and cafes. Great bakery!!
Beautiful views, lovely little restaurant... pack a picnic basket if you feel like something different. The Western Australia Botanical Garden, which is situated in the same place is worth a visit even if you just stroll through
Margaret River region is an eclectic collection of different things. Scenery, friendly locals, overpriced food and drink and a general feel of, "that the way it was when the economy was high, in the boom, why change things?" The general feel to this traveller was that the average holiday maker would spend at a different range of sources if the pricing were more realistic to actual cost. Compared with other wine producing areas, Western Australia demands excessive expenditure on basics, as well as higher end consumables.
Spent time in Broome took a tour to Kimberley and stayed at Kooljaman at Cape Leveque what a 'gem' of our great Western Australia and was so glad we got to experience all these great places another box ticked off our 'bucket list' Leigh and Glen Evans
Just amazed everywhere we went there were views of ocean and islands. Never envisaged this was possible in Western Australia. Driving around the town and suburbs was a breeze and no traffic lights, not one. Instead many small round abouts , which made for very easy and hassle free movement of traffic. The standard of all tourist attractions was excellent. Signage and access and viewing facilities were first class. Eating choices were many and varied and all good quality.
Love this park! Western Australian flora well marked and I enjoy the steep tracks for good leg workout!
The room was quite spacious to fit in all my family. The price was reasonable and affordable. I would like to thank also the reception who is willing to print one letter document of Western Australia parking that I bought online -- very grateful for that lady. The staff was also friendly -- at the end of my first day (we stayed for 2 nights), in the morning, I was asked if we need the room service - which we didn't, but it is good that they ask. Would be considering to come back again next time.
Pemberton
This house was perfect and by far my favourite of all the houses we stayed at in Western Australia. The interior has been sympathetically renovated, retaining tonnes of period character. It was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and equipped with electric blankets for chilly nights. It's quiet, but also close to Pemberton's main street. Our children enjoyed playing in the fenced garden, while the adults enjoyed birdwatching.
Jurien Bay
From the outside the Jurien Bay Hotel Motel isn't much to write home about, but it's whats inside that counts. The beds were among the most comfortable we had slept in during two weeks of travelling in the north of Western Australia. My wife and I both commented in the morning what a comfortable and deep sleep we had. Truly excellent. The food at the hotel is also very good, which was really handy. All up a great stop and a pleasant end to our trip.
Our villa was very clean, well equipped with all that we needed, including washing machine and dryer. The bedrooms were very large with nice bedding and blankets, also the living area had an efficient heat pump as the weather was cooler in the evening. The living area was comfortable, spacious, with good seating and a very nice outlook. I would recommend this wonderful accommodation to anyone thinking of staying in Denmark Western Australia
This retreat was close to the town centre, clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were fantastic, they were friendly and very welcoming. We had a beautifully cooked breakfast daily during our stay which was included in the cost. We have been travelling through Western Australia over the past 3 weeks and have stayed in many types of accommodation but this has been the best place we have stayed at. We would definitely highly recommend it.
Margaret River Town
Loved Everything! Our bed was very comfortable. The chairs were just what you needed to watch the tv. The kitchen facilities were perfect and the bathroom spacious. parking was right outside our door. Location was fantastic with shopping centre across the road, the main street at end of road with cafe's and bakery's & Tavern within easy walking distance. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Margaret River Western Australia
The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making ourstay truly special. Located right on the stunning Cable Beach, the resort offers breathtaking views and easy beach access. The facilities, including the pool and well-appointed rooms, were excellent. Dining was a treat with a great variety of delicious food. Overall, an outstanding and relaxing experience in Western Australia that I highly recommend.
Broome
Fantastic Place, Amazing staff, Brilliant Swimming Pool, exceptionally clean, really good Showers and just a Short walk from one of the Best Beaches I have ever seen Great Advice from all the staff on placed to go in all of Western Australia They even have scooters and bikes for hire and the local inexpensive Broome Explorer Tourist bus stops just 2 minutes walk away Absolutely 💯 Recommended !!
Broome
Mantra Frangiapani was the best accommodation during our 6 weeks tour thru Western Australia! Huge apartment, nicely furnished, shower outside perfect, on all windows/mosquito doors, own BBQ, nice sitting area on the terrace - 2 pools - all really perfect! Bus stop in front of the resort, in case you don't have a car or are going to be picked up by a tour bus. We plan to return.
Bridgetown
This is the best accommodation that I have stayed at in the South-West of Western Australia. Cathy and Brian are exceptional hosts. The bed and breakfast surroundings were beautiful, lush gardens and a quiet stay in Bridgetown. Room was exceptionally clean. The daily home-made treats that Cathy provided were delicious. Highly recommended. I will be returning very soon.
Pemberton
I don't usually write reviews, but I feel Forest Lodge deserves one because I enjoyed our stay so much. The grounds were beautiful, with the gardens and the lake. The room felt luxurious and we loved the restaurant. I wish we had stayed longer here and less time at some of some of the other places we stayed during our Western Australia holiday.
Broome
Staff, location yes it under the flight path but so is everywhere. Food and drinks excellent yes a little more expensive than home but we are in nw Western Australian. Transfers from airport and to our next hotel for tour.
Geraldton
The location is nice, 2 mins to supermarket coles and hungry Jack, the house room is super clean and all the matress is very high standard and the bed is comfortable, the best place i stay in western Australia
Albany
Best Place we stayed on our journey thru the South Western Australia. Very large and clean rooms. Very well equiped. Nice hosts and quick check In. Parking in front of the Apartement. Very quiet place.
Walpole
Location is good, lots of wildlife. Room, A frame loft, is an old building and showing a lot of signs of age, nonetheless, it was comfortable and reasonably priced for Western Australia.
Exmouth
One of the best place I have been in Western Australia Simple rooms but amazing facilities: kitchen, laundry, swimming pool. Very friendly staff and perfect location in town
Mandurah
absolutely loved the whole vibe of this place and loved the brewery across the road. the pool was the cleanest in all the places I’ve stayed in Western Australia’
Best of the best but could be so much better!! This could be Western Australia’s #1 place to stay. The Forrest, local attractions and accomodation are amazing.
Denmark
Everything was as it should be ,really good. This is not the case with many other properties we have stayed in Western Australia and elsewhere in the world .
Busselton
Stayed for Ironman Western Australia. Great location and comfortable setup with everything we needed provided.
